Sarah Jael Dion is a founding member of Radius Law Group. Her practice is focused on all aspects of estate planning, as well as probate and intestate administration, property agreements, and the representation of fiduciaries. She enjoys problem solving with clients and working towards efficient, lasting solutions. Sarah was named a Washington State "Super Lawyer" in 2024.
A Seattle native, Sarah has a B.A. in English/ Creative Writing from the University of Washington. She graduated from Boston University School of Law magna cum laude. Sarah clerked for a justice on the Rhode Island Supreme Court before joining Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in New York City, where she worked as an associate doing commercial litigation. Sarah returned to clerking a few years later and spent nearly nine years as a career law clerk for a district judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.
Sarah co-chairs the QLaw (LGBTQ+ Bar Association of Washington) Judicial Evaluation Committee. She remains active in QLaw, where she is a former board member, by doing judicial vetting and by actively mentoring law students and new attorneys. Sarah is also a member of Washington Women in Tax.
In both 2021 and 2022, Sarah was appointed by Senator Patty Murray to the Federal Judicial Merit Selection Committee, a bipartisan committee created to vet and recommend judicial candidates for open seats on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.
