Shayna V. Israel

Shayna V. Israel is a founding member of Radius Law Group. Her practice is focused primarily on family law, including all aspects of divorce, domestic partnerships, post-divorce issues, parentage actions and second-parent adoption. Shayna is known for her compassionate, yet highly practical approach to complex and sensitive situations. She enjoys helping clients identify their priorities and interests to achieve the best result possible.
Shayna was born and raised in the Seattle area. She has a B.A. in Psychology from Western Washington University, and a J.D. from the University of Washington. Shayna clerked for now Supreme Court Justice Mary I. Yu when she was a judge on the King County Superior Court.
Shayna is fluent in American Sign Language, and before law school, she worked as a Pediatric Mental Health Specialist at Seattle Children's Hospital, working with deaf and hard-of-hearing children and their families.
Shayna is a board member of MAMA Seattle (Mother Attorneys Mentoring Association) and a former board member of QLaw (the LGBTQ+ Bar Association of Washington).
